Planetary movements, the daily and annual course of the sun’s celestial bodies, unusual events such as solar and lunar eclipses and the recent unmanned Mars landing are all occurrences which are analysed at the Zeiss Planetarium and simply explained! Unlike at an observatory where the universe is observed directly through a telescope, the starry sky is artificially created in a planetarium.
