Like a fairy-tale...

The icy journey starts just 200 m from the highest point on the Hintertux Glacier. A secure route leads to the gateway of this palace from the panoramic plateau of the Gefrorene Wand (3,250 m), offering some of the most beautiful panoramic views across the Zillertal mountains.

Following thorough checking of the equipment (helmet, belt with 2 safety loops), the route, accompanied by a handrail, runs through the entire natural setting. Only natural sunlight can submerse the entire hall in blue because only blue tones are reflected by the ice.
