In winter too, Alpine enjoyment is shared between the Ahorn and Penken, indulgence and action, racing and beating hearts. Dreamy descents, soft wide pistes - the Ahorn offers a snowy white paradise for Sunday skiers, children and beginners. Here winter walkers can reach their full potential when they explore the mountain along the panoramic circular trail. Sun-worshippers chill out on recliners to some lounge music and the White Lounge igloo village is sure to melt the heart of any romantic!

Scraping the skies

Mayrhofen is situated in the bottom part of the Zillertal at 630 m above sea level – right at the heart of Tyrol and Austria. But above all: at the centre of indulgence, fun and relaxation! The striking Zillertal and Tux Alps with their 3000 m peaks form a magnificent natural backdrop for all kinds of outdoor activities in summer and winter alike.

And best of all: right alongside the Perauer is the Mayrhofen mountain railway gondolas which will transport you up to the gently rolling meadows of the Ahorn Leisure Mountain - the perfect place for hikers, nature lovers and families. Hardcore outdoor enthusiasts such as mountain bikers, downhill riders, freeclimbers and paragliders are attracted to the Penken Action Mountain where they can really let off steam. Whether the ‘Himmelfahrt’ or ‘Höllenritt’ freeriding trail - an adrenaline rush is guaranteed!
